CNC Info
There are many CNC/CAD/CAM software programs available that will allow you to
use your PC to control a milling machine, lathe, router, or other device. These
programs often use TTL-level signals through the parallel port of your PC to
communicate with stepper motor driver boards.
Our stepper motor drivers operate off of a step and a direction signal from the
controlling device. In the case of most CNC software (and all of the
programs listed in the table below) these signals are output through
the parallel port of your PC. By using our stepper motor drivers and cables to connect
the drivers to the PC's parallel port you can easily control various machines with
full CNC accuracy and performance.
If you have a question about using our products with one of the programs
listed in the table, or if there are software programs that you would like
to list in the table below please
contact us.
